Ring Automotive has extended its range of industry leading LED inspection Lamps with the RIL6000, an under bonnet work light. 128 high intensity LEDs give complete engine bay illumination for up to 4.5 hours. The easily adjustable spring mounted arms allow for fitting on to bonnets from 1.32m to 2.15m. The benefit for a mechanic is both hands are free to work on the engine, without the inconvenience of holding a light source. The lamp can be unclipped from the fixing bracket and used separately via the hook for accurate illumination. The virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lens ensures the lamp can withstand the robust, tough working conditions within a garage. The lamp is also cordless, meaning there is no danger of fellow mechanics tripping over loose untidy wires. The lamp utilises Lithium Ion battery technology making it extremely lightweight and provides consistent recharging for high power output.
